When we found out we were unable to buy the The Dark Knight cardboard cutouts from the cinema back in 2009 we discovered the only way to acquire one was to sell them ourselves.

We started by acquiring a small unit and importing the product from the US. This proved very costly for UK customers so we invested in making them ourselves.

Based in Ashton Under Lyne, Manchester, United Kingdom we had to buy equipment large enough to print and cut lifesize cardboard cutouts. These are huge pieces of machinery which required two artic trucks to deliver them!

Also we had to reach out to international companies such as Warner Brothers, BBC, NBCU and more to acquire licenses to manufacture the cardboard cutouts. As a UK Family business we are proud to be able to offer such a huge selection of international stars.

We also recruited an incredible team of local staff who shared an affinity with our family for popular culture, comics and movie memorabilia.

Our Director has a background in engineering from British Aerospace and used this knowledge to design a standee that could be folded for shipping.

We inspect each piece and developed a sturdy easel.  We also ensure all product is beautifully printed to excite fans and ensure you receive an excellently crafted product.

That was back in 2009 and since then Star Cutouts family business has been supplying the trade with cutouts for events. Families, friends and fans love these cardboard cutouts for their home, birthdays, collectors and events.

So our aim is to continue to bring the product into the mainstream so all fans can aquire the cardboard cutouts they love.
